NMFS Termination of Services
If you decide that conducting inspections for NMFS is not for you, please fill out and submit this Termination notice.
But is that really what you want to do? So many times we see vendors wanting to quit because they are not making enough money. If any other business said that they don't make enough money when they only have one customer, it's easy to see what they need. More customers! You can't run a business with just one client! If NMFS is your only client, then you need more clients! https://nmfs.com/back-office/additional-companies/
Upon receipt of this notice, NMFS will stop sending further inspections to you based on the last date you intend to work.
TWO WEEK NOTICE:
With a 2-week Notice: Remaining payments to resume as normally scheduled with regular pay dates.
Without providing a two-week contract termination notice: (Slower Payment System) NMFS will make payments to contractor on a completely different payment schedule based on a dollar amount rather than by dates. $20 to $50 will be paid out per month until all monies are paid in full to the contractor. Payment of this type usually starts after we receive the fees for your inspections from our clients, which usually take 4 to 6 months for us to get paid.
have a "Forfeiture of Pay" policy for not providing proper termination notice, as is common in this industry. This means that failure to provide a two notice does not forfeit your future payments. It does put it on a much slower pay out system however.
NMFS reserves the right to pay active inspectors who are generating revenue for our company first, then inactive inspectors as funds become available.
We are sorry this job didn't work out for you. We wish you the best in all your future endeavors.
